The staff of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture have undergone a two-day training in Administrative Management Skills and Civil Service Laws, Policy, and the Code of Ethics at the Ellking Hotel, East Legon. The first batch had their training on Wednesday 24th April, while the second batch had their training on Thursday 25th April 2024.
The training was to empower staff with administrative and leadership skills and to ensure participants were abreast of the Code of Ethics of the Ghana Civil Service.
Mr. Vittus Otto Langmagne, Director in charge of Human Resource at the Ministry on behalf of the Chief Director, Mr John Yao Agbeko welcomed all to the training. He acknowledged that training, development, and learning are key to ensuring the Ministry is equipped with the necessary human resources to manage its present and future needs, enabling it to deal with the challenges.
He encouraged all participants to pay attention and participate fully in the training to improve their capacity, competency, and skills for effective delivery on the job.
The Head of Training at the Civil Service Training Centre at Cantonments, Mr. Robert Laryea, facilitated the two-day training.
