Tourvest Integrated Tourism Group led by Luuhengo Neswiswi met with Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, to discuss potential collaborations and unveil a major investment drive in Ghana’s tourism sector. The Minister welcomed the delegation, highlighting Ghana’s openness to foreign direct investment that aligns with the country’s tourism vision and national development agenda.
The meeting focused on Tourvest’s operational philosophy, authentic Ghanaian storytelling, and immersive guest experiences at tourist centres. The company shared successful initiatives from other African countries, emphasizing cultural integrity and community engagement. Tourvest’s approach prioritizes local staff hiring, social impact initiatives, and community development projects.
The Minister expressed interest in deepening collaboration with Tourvest, particularly in tourism infrastructure development, job creation, and capacity building. She urged the delegation to expedite their proposed investment in the Ghanaian tourism industry, benefiting the local population.
The meeting concluded with a request for Tourvest to provide a well-documented concept and roadmap for consideration by the Ministry. Both parties agreed to maintain open communication and work together to establish Ghana as a centre of excellence for sustainable, culturally-grounded tourism that empowers communities.
The Ministry was represented by Mr. Joseph K. Amoah, Chief Director, accompanied by two other directors: Mr. Divine Owusu Ansah and Mr. Vitus Otto.
