A delegation from the United Arab Emirates led by the Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Amer Al Alawi paid a courtesy call on the Chief Director at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr John Yao Agbeko on Thursday, 7th March 2023, in his office.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarise himself with the work being done by the Ministry and to ask for collaboration and partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Ghana in the area of culture and arts. He presented a Memorandum of Understanding for consideration by the Ministry.
Receiving the memorandum, Mr John Yao Agbeko, said he was happy to receive the document, and promised to make it available to the Minister-designate, Hon. Agyapa Mercer as soon as he is given the nod by Parliament and assumes office.
Present at the meeting were the Secretary and Translator to the Ambassador, Ms Ghina Karltum, and Mrs Mabel Cudjoe, Director for Research at the Ministry.
