Accra, June 5, 2025 — Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, has officially welcomed a delegation from BELIEVE, a visionary international campaign team aimed at transforming lives and inspiring positive change across Africa.
The delegation visited the Ministry to formally introduce the BELIEVE initiative to the Government of Ghana and to propose Ghana as the-presenting nation for the campaign’s upcoming global rollout. The meeting coincides with preparations for Ghana’s historic 70th Independence Anniversary, presenting a strategic opportunity to align national celebrations with global engagement and investment.
By partnering with BELIEVE, Ghana stands to benefit from unprecedented global exposure, with the campaign projected to generate billions of positive social media impressions. The initiative seeks to highlight Ghana’s rich tourism assets and attract international investment by positioning the country as a beacon of innovation, culture, and opportunity.
In her remarks, Hon. Dzifa Gomashie expressed profound appreciation to the BELIEVE team for considering Ghana as the host nation for this transformative initiative. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to empowering the creative sector and underscored the campaign’s potential to foster meaningful connections among African youth and their peers worldwide.
“This initiative is not only about global visibility; it is about creating lasting impact and giving young people across Africa a renewed sense of purpose and global belonging,” the Minister stated.
Also present at the meeting were Hon. Yussif Issaka. Jajah (M.P.), Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, the Chief Director of MoTCCA Mr Joseph Kwasi Amoah, Dr. Geofrey Tamakloe, and Mr. Divine Owusu Ansah, who all lent their support to the initiative and echoed the Ministry’s enthusiasm for the campaign’s potential.
Through the leadership of Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie and her Deputy, Hon. Yusif Issaka. Jajah, the Ministry is poised to elevate Ghana’s cultural diplomacy and solidify the nation’s status as a leading hub for creative excellence and developmental innovation in Africa.
