The Chief Director and staff of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture were among the staff in the Civil Service who were honoured at the 2024 Civil Service Week for excelling in their line of duties in an assessment done for the 2023 period. The ceremony was held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday 3rd May 2024.
The Chief Director, Mr John Yao Agbeko received an award for being among the best twelve Chief Directors who performed creditably for the 2023 period. He was honoured for his dedicated service and continuous contribution to the progress of the Civil Service. He was also honoured in appreciation of his Ministry’s role in supporting the Civil Service Week celebrations organisation over the years.
Mrs Mabel Cudjoe, Director of Research, Statistics and Information Management and Ms Josephine Ohene-Osei, Director of Arts and Culture were honoured for their distinguished leadership and performance for the 2023 period.
Two other staff, Ms Anna Ankora, a Tourism Officer and Mr Andrews Asiedu, a Senior Executive Officer were also honoured for their punctuality and dedicated service to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for the period under review.
In receiving the award, they were joined by the Director for Human Resource, Mr Vittus Otto Langmagne and other staff of the Ministry.
