Tuesday – June 3rd, Accra, Ghana – Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts (MoTCCA), accompanied by Dr. Geoffery Tamakloe and Mr. Divine Owusu Ansah, both directors at the MoTCCA paid a working visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park today to assess the facility and explore ways to enhance its appeal to visitors and tourists.
During her visit, she engaged with the Ag. Executive Director of the park, Dr. Collins Rawlings Nunyonameh encouraging the adoption of innovative strategies to keep the site vibrant and engaging. As one of Ghana’s most visited cultural landmarks, the park holds significant historical value, and the minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to its continued promotion.
The visit also included an inspection of an area affected by recent flooding. Hon. Gomashie discussed preventive measures with the management to safeguard the site and ensure its resilience against such occurrences in the future.
Her engagement reflects a broader initiative to strengthen Ghana’s cultural tourism, ensuring that iconic locations like the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park continue to offer enriching experiences for both local and international visitors.
