On Friday, 12 July 2024, the Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer, appeared on the floor of Parliament to answer to the satisfaction of the house, critical questions on the sector.
At the end of the proceeding, the Minister assured the Rt. Hon. Speaker and the entire house of the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing tourism development, as it is a public-sector-led, but private-sector-driven venture.
He said the Ministry will continue to uphold its commitment to furnishing Parliament with necessary clarifications on the sector’s growth and development.
